This is a beginner to advanced beginner class and for those of you interested, we will give you a brief primer on the fascinating properties of glass and it's history. Then we give a demonstration of how to properly and safely use each of the hand tools we use to cut and shape glass. Then you all get a chance to try it out. While you are doing all this you are in our studio and showroom space, surrounded by many different fused glass pieces so you can get inspiration for what you want to make. We will show you a number of samples and discuss which items you can make for the basic price and what items require us to do extra work for you, like extra firings or mounting it for you so they incur an addition…
